About the work: "Blue Flower & Skulls, 2016 packs smiling flowers and skulls into a dense blue, white and black field, broken by small flashes of yellow, pink and orange. The composition closely matches Murakami's 2012 painting Blue Flowers & Skulls, shown in Gagosian's Hong Kong exhibition of the same name."
