Peter Halley
American, b. 1953
Peter Halley's geometric paintings use fluorescent color, rectangular cells and connecting conduits to examine life within urban and technological systems. Associated with the Neo-Geo movement of the 1980s, he treats abstraction as a diagram of confinement and connection. His collaboration with Yellowpop translates that geometry into colored light.
