About the work: "MADSAKI Flowers B Red (working title), 2017 focuses on Murakami flower imagery, cheerful on the surface and dense once the repeating faces begin to stack up. It reads cleanly at first glance, then starts to feel more layered once the faces, signs, and color fields press together."
