Hiroshi Sugito is a Japanese painter whose work moves between figuration and abstraction. Familiar motifs such as houses, boats, trees, and fruit appear alongside geometric forms in carefully balanced compositions. Trained in Japanese painting, Sugito explores color, space, and the relationship between artworks and their surroundings. His practice also includes collaborative works with Yoshitomo Nara.
