Jon Burgerman draws wide-eyed characters that turn food, animals and everyday encounters into subjects for paintings, murals and sculpture. Doodling is central to his practice: loose lines and unexpected faces give his work the humor of a drawing made on the spot. His Yellowpop light objects carry those characters off the page.
